WHAT WE DO
“We deliver; what you want, when you want, where you want!”
Product Profile
Tiger nuts, also known as chufa or yellow nutsedge or earth almonds, are not actually nuts, but rather edible tubers like sweet potato though much smaller in size. These marble-sized wrinkly tubers, have a chewy texture and sweet nutty flavor similar to coconut. They get their name from the stripes on the tubers’ exterior.
In Nigeria, tiger nut is planted in April and harvested in November. The planting period is grouped into major (April-June) and minor (September –November) seasons. However, at Acme Global Merchants Ltd, our export delivery is throughout the year.
